Decarbonization of the economy, GHG emission reduction, improvements in waste management, reduction in waste disposal to landfills, increase in recycling rates and increase in the weight of renewable energy in the energy matrix.
ECONWARD’s technology focuses on a specific waste stream, the organic fraction, which poses a great challenge in terms of treatment, being responsible for 3-5% of global GHG emissions. Our process not only allows the recovery and recycling of this fraction but manages to optimise the generation of renewable energy, a step further in the energy transition.
We’re a company that doesn’t stop at speech but turn to action in matters of sustainability. Our solutions directly help to solve real environmental problems that our planet faces today and will continue to face in the future if we don’t act NOW.
Our technology significantly reduces the quantity of organic waste that ends up in landfills or incinerated both alternatives which don’t allow to take advantage of the energetic potential of organic material and we propose a real change, which generates at the same time environmental, social and economic benefits: it’s a triple impact technology
